Individualized, customized planning aimed at transitioning accommodations from high school to college for students with a range of conditions and disabilities.*

Guiding families through the transition from high school to college for students with IEPs or 504 plans with a focus on access through a step-by-step framework

Navigating the differences between accommodations in high school and college and providing clarification about the legal implications

Supporting students to become self-advocates while preparing parents/guardians for their changing role; both are critical for student growth and long-term success.
Services include:

Clear, concise and detailed information about the differences between accommodations up to grade 12 and those typically found in the college environment.

Explanation of the essential steps required by the student to seek accommodations in college, including understanding their diagnosis and development of self-advocacy skills

Documentation review and detailed description of what is necessary for colleges to determine eligibility for accommodations.

Detailed concepts and strategies to support the changing role of parent/guardian.

Development of a game plan for the student and their parent/guardian to connect with Disability/Accessibility Services in college.
Fees:
$175/hour and $900 for 6 hours
